What This Experience Is

Lorenzo Moretti is a fictional AI character. This is an interactive entertainment experience powered by artificial intelligence. Lorenzo is not a real person, and conversations with him are generated by AI technology.

Data We Collect

  • Your first name — Used to personalize the conversation.
  • Quiz answers — Your zodiac sign and personality preferences, used to tailor Lorenzo's responses.
  • Conversation messages — Stored locally on your device and optionally on our servers to maintain conversation continuity across devices.
  • Email address — If you sign in, used for authentication, account recovery, and optional marketing communications.
  • Behavioral patterns — Conversation engagement metrics (message count, topics) used to improve the experience.
  • Psychological insights — Communication style analysis (e.g., attachment style, conversation preferences) derived from your interactions to personalize responses.
  • Payment information — Processed by Stripe; we do not store your credit card details.

How Data Is Stored

Your data is primarily stored in your browser's local storage. If you create an account, conversation data and profile information are synced to our secure database (hosted by Turso) to enable cross-device access and account recovery. No data is sold to third parties.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate this experience:

  • Anthropic (Claude AI) — Processes your messages to generate Lorenzo's responses. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe — Processes subscription payments securely. Your payment details are handled directly by Stripe and never touch our servers. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Google (OAuth & Analytics) — Provides sign-in authentication and anonymous usage analytics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Apple (OAuth) — Provides sign-in authentication. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
  • Resend — Sends transactional emails (OTP codes, subscription confirmations). Subject to Resend's Privacy Policy.
  • Turso — Hosts our serverless database for account data and conversation history.
  • ElevenLabs — Generates voice audio for Lorenzo's messages (when voice features are enabled).
  • Fal.ai — Generates images related to the conversation (when image features are enabled).
  • Vercel — Hosts the application and processes server-side requests.

Cookies & Local Storage

  • Authentication cookies — Session cookies set by NextAuth to keep you signed in.
  • Cookie consent preference — Stored in local storage to remember your cookie choice.
  • Conversation data — Your chat history, quiz answers, and preferences stored in local storage.
  • Google Analytics cookies — Only set if you accept cookies; used for anonymous usage metrics.

You can clear all local data at any time through your browser settings or the in-app reset option.

Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the right to:

  • Access your data — Your conversation history is visible within the app. You can also request a full data export by contacting us.
  • Delete your data — Clear your browser's local storage for local data. For server-side data deletion, contact us at the email below or use the account deletion option in your account settings.
  • Data portability — Request a copy of your data in a portable format by contacting us.
  • Opt out of marketing — Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, or contact us directly.
  • Withdraw consent — You can stop using the experience at any time. Decline cookies to prevent analytics tracking.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymous, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Age Requirement

This experience is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
